KALDEF (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile web application (the “Service”).

By using KALDEF, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies, please do not access the Service.

Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Service Providers: Supabase (database/auth), PayMongo (payments), AI providers for coaching features
• Legal Compliance: When required by law or to protect rights
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly direct us to share

AI and your data

When you use AI features (Coach, meal validation, photo logging), your input is processed by our AI partners. We:

• Do not use your personal data to train AI models
• Send only necessary data for each request
• Use providers with strong data protection practices
• Allow you to opt out of AI features entirely

Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon deletion:

• Active data is deleted within 30 days of account deletion
• Backups may retain data for up to 90 additional days
• Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be retained indefinitely

We implement industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption, secure authentication, encrypted storage, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

Children's privacy

KALDEF is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we discover we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.
